Indications

Who is it particularly useful for?

A home blood test is especially recommended for elderly people or those with reduced mobility who find it difficult to travel to a laboratory. It is also very convenient for patients on anticoagulants who require regular INR monitoring.

It is equally suited to post-hospitalisation convalescents, patients with chronic conditions (diabetes, kidney disease…), and anyone who simply prefers the comfort and convenience of care at home.

No blood test is too "routine" to be carried out at home. If you have a prescription and you live within my coverage area, I will come to you — including expats and tourists staying in Provence or the Luberon.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about home blood tests

Do I need to fast before a home blood test?
It depends on the tests prescribed. Your doctor will indicate this on the prescription. For lipid panels or blood glucose tests, a fast of 10 to 12 hours is required. This is why I visit early in the morning, before breakfast.
Is it covered by French health insurance?
Yes, fully with a prescription. I operate the direct billing (tiers payant) system: you do not pay the French Social Security portion upfront. The top-up (complementary insurance) portion depends on your policy. For patients not covered by French insurance, payment is required directly.
How do I receive my results?
Results are transmitted directly to your doctor by the laboratory. Some laboratories also offer online access via a patient portal. Your doctor will contact you to discuss the results.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
In general, I can visit the following morning or the day after. For urgent tests, please call me directly: I will do my best to arrange something quickly.
I don't live in Pertuis — can you still visit me?
I cover a 15 km radius around Pertuis. Villelaure, La Tour-d'Aigues, Ansouis and neighbouring villages are all within my area. Check the coverage map or call me to confirm.
